LDT100x – Week 8 update

LDT100x – Week 7 update

LDT100x – Week 6 update

• Found an unexpected issue with site pages not updating when changes are made. Isolated the issue to caching system used by cloudflare causing page contents to not refresh as intended when reloading page. Workaround is to temporary disable cache and hit ctrl+F5 to force refresh of cached content.
• Todo: Add a message on index page to warn visitors to refresh website pages if not visiting website for the first time until I fix caching issue.
• Updated layout of all learning theory pages and added section for APA citations.
• Started work on the comparing learning theories page
• Updated about-porfolio and about-author pages

LDT100x – Week 5 update

• Added page about andragogy with an infographic.
• Improved slide-out menu appearance and performance.
• Also moved “about portfolio” and “about author” sections to their own respective pages with links on the index page.
• Made significant improvements to the index page to make it look more simple and intuitive to use.

LDT100x – Week 4 update

• Added 2 pages: One about cognitivism, and another about connectivism with an infographic comparing the two learning theories.
• Also updated all css, and js to include jquery library which I used to make a proper navigation slide-out menu.
• Made improvements to header and footer which were moved to their own files so that they can be loaded via javascript using ajax.

LDT100x – Week 2 update

• Added page on behaviorism.

LDT100x – Week 1 update

• Initial release: Added the index.html “welcome page” with a section about porfolio and author. Transfered the accompanying js and css files as well. Encountered issues uploading files via FTP which I found is blocked in China and eventually found a work-around by uploading files using http protocol.
• Also added personal learning experiences page sharing my personal experiences.

LDT100x – Initial PORTFOLIO CONCEPT design

Decided to go with a purple color scheme and bright colors. Opted to create the portfolio using barebone html pages which I will upgrade to a dynamic language (php or python most likely) as I go along.
